Praying

Prayer support is the most important support that anyone can give us! We can't do what God has called us to without the prayer support of others. Here are some suggestions of how you can partner with us through prayer:

You can go to our Photo Gallery, and "adopt" a child from our Kids Club Album to print out and pray for as you pray for us. You should see the look of joy on their faces when we tell those children personally that someone from the USA is specifically praying for them! Thank you for taking time to "adopt" and pray. May God see fit that each one of these children are adopted by prayer. It would be great if you would write and let us know which child you have adopted by prayer.

If you feel led to commit to our ministry in prayer, please go to "Our Email Updates" and fill in the information to receive up-to-date prayer requests via email. Please share some of your prayer requests with us, so we can partner in prayer with you!

You can also use this as a guide to pray for us through the week…

Sunday - Spiritual Life: Time in God’s Word and prayer; For spiritual growth, encouragement and fellowship. Pray for integrity, reliability and consistency.

Monday - Personal Life: Our marriage and time with Austin & Caris. Health, strength, creativity and energy. Physical and spiritual protection. The traffic is pretty crazy, so please pray for our safety and protection.

Tuesday - Communication: Pray too as we continue in our "informal" language study and adaptation to the culture, customs and people.

Wednesday - Relationships: We are involved in a “Life Group”; a group of several other SIM missionaries that meets once a month for prayer, fellowship, encouragement and a short devotional. Pray for our relationships with our neighbors. Pray for our family relationships too. 

Thursday - Evangelism: Pray for our taxi driver “Don” (Mr.) Edwin. He takes Tami to and from school, with various other trips here and there throughout the week. We’ve had many interesting conversations with him, and he’s always ready to listen to the Bible verses we’ve learned in Spanish. Pray for the kids that come to our church from Kids Club, that they would come to know and love Jesus as their Savior.

Friday - Discipleship: As we take opportunites to read the Bible with Austin and Caris and model Jesus to them each day. Please pray for more opportunities to share our lives with them, and to make the most of every opportunity to point them to Jesus and His Word.

Saturday - The country of Bolivia: Pray for the stability of the government and the people. Pray for wisdom for President Morales and the government officials. Here is a link for updated news from Bolivia:
