First Kids Club of 2010
Thanks so much for praying for Kids Club today! We had a total of 14 today, 2 moms and 12 kids. We had 6 CCS students join us today too! It
A mom receiving her Bible was great to serve alongside this team this morning! We all had a terrific time back with these kids of the club, just having fun and telling them about Jesus, and showing his love.
That the details of beginning Kids Club (quite an undertaking) will come
together smoothly.
That God would continue to prepare the hearts and minds of both the
children and moms who will come Saturdays to hear and receive His Word
and love.
Acts 26:17-18 (NIV) "...I am sending you to them 18
to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the
power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place
among those who are sanctified by faith in me."
That God would prepare each one of us who will serve in this
ministry. May the "team" He develops for this ministry have true
servant's hearts and unity for His work.
That God would bless our Kids Club Saturdays with good
weather and a good turn out of both children and CCS students.
That our children, Austin and Caris, would see how important their
help and presence is as they, too, minister alongside us.

It rained all day yesterday, but God opened up the sky today and we had blue sky and sun all day, especially in the morning for club! Thanks for praying about the weather!
Tami began a 5 part series for our story time. The story is about a boy who lived in Bolivia and who was a witch-doctor who came to know the Lord. Today was the first part. We are praying that some of the students will take different parts of the club, especially the story. Tami will do the Bible lesson each club.
