Roadblocks and Websites

Today we had a "snowday" for Bolivia. Bus drivers blocked roads throughout the country as they press for measures and protest. From a local newspaper. Buses block in Cochabamba. From a local newspaper. Buses block in Cochabamba.

Because of the roadblocks, we couldn't go to school. We couldn't afford to loose a day of school either. So early this morning 3 other teachers and myself collected assignments from teachers via email and posted them all on the school website so students could get their assignments and work from home. All this was coordinated by the school director via Skype.

This is the first time we've been able to do this. We thank God for the technology to be able to do this.

To make school matters worse, Austin has been sick for the last couple of days, so he hasn't been to school. So for him, he had to do make up work, plus the work for today!

The roadblocks my last through tomorrow as well, so tomorrow morning I may be posting more on the school website!

We'll take it a day at a time.
