CCS Senior Trip

On March 14 two teachers and 8 seniors from CCS embarked on this year's senior trip. Destination: La Paz, Bolivia. Saying good-bye in CochabambaSaying good-bye in Cochabamba

The class had planned to go to Santa Cruz, Bolivia, a city in the tropical region, but because of the Dengue fever break out there, they changed their plans about a week before leaving.

I was asked to go along as one of the chaperones, along with another teacher. The trip was really a great time with the students. We had some great times, talks, laughs and stories! Thanks guys for asking me!

While in La Paz we were able to see some sights, like the San Fransisco church in downtown and did some shopping. We took a couple of days and went to Copacabana on Lake Titicaca, the highest lake in the world. (This would be where I get sick from something I ate and the altitude...)

At night we would gather in one room for our devotions. We talked a little of how to know God's will for our lives. It was a great time outside the classroom to talk about God, His plan for us and how we can know what He wants us to do.

These 8 seniors are approaching graduation fast. It wasn't until I got back from the trip that it started to sink in that these guys are really graduating. We started at CCS with this class as their homeroom teachers when they were in 9th grade. So it's special to see them at this point.

Thanks guys!
