This weekend our boys and girls soccer teams are playing in a "english speaking school" tournament, "The Friendship Games". CCS Cheerleaders picture in "Los Tiempos" newspaperThree  other english speaking schools were invited to play in the tournament, the Cooperative school here in Cochabamba, Calvert, it's twin in La Paz and another school from Cochabamba competed in soccer and volleyball. Climbing the steep dirt road (see the video below) in 4 wheel drive behind the bus of 35 students and 5 adults, our minds raced in anticipation of the work with Habitat for Humanity that lay ahead of us. As we came near the top of the mountain, a car impeeded that passage of the bus, but with a couple of moves, the bus was able to pass with about an inch to spare and we were headed up the mountain again. Remember the scene in Disney's Toy Story when Andy receives Buzz Lightyear for his birthday, and suddenly Woody's whole world is turned upside down.
