Tami's Mom

Charlie Thorsen on August 22, 2010

We just got word from Tami’s sister this morning that Tami’s mom passed away this morning around 7:00 AM, August 22. She had another stroke yesterday. The last time we were back this past July, Tami’s dad talked with Tami and with talking with the rest of the family, we’ve decided not to return to the states for the funeral. Charlie Thorsen on August 7, 2010

Yesterday Bolivia celebrated their Independence Day here. August 6. That got me to thinking about July 4th, Independence Day in the US, and what has happened between "Independence Days" with our family. Here's just a little of what has happened...  July 4 – Ended our SIM Mission conference here in Bolivia where all us SIM Bolivia missionaries camped out at the school for a week of Spiritual Renewal.  July 8 – Our family started out on our "US Tour" arriving in Charlotte, NC on July 9th for a couple of days of down time.  July 10 – July 15 - ...
