Giving

As missionaries with SIM, we are responsible for raising the finances that we live on. SIM establishes the amount we need to raise and churches and individuals give as God leads them, investing in eternity and being a part of God's work in Bolivia.

There are some financial needs that we anticipate in the next months: 

1. We weren't planning to return to the US so soon, so buying our tickets to return was an unexpected expense. If you would like to give toward this, please designate your gift toward our "Ministry Account-Passage". 

2. In October 2011 our monthly support need increased by $100 a month. Gifts for this can be designated to our "Support Account." 

As we return to the states, we will remain under SIM support, just as it has always been. We pray you would continue to partner with us as you have these past 7 years and now during this very difficult transition time. Thank you for your ongoing support and giving! 

If you feel God leading you to join our financial support team, or want to send a special gift, there are two ways this can be done.

1. Giving online. You may also join our financial support team by giving online through SIMUSA's website. Just click the link to their website below and follow the instructions. If you choose to use this method of giving, please use our name, Charlie & Tami Thorsen and our Missionary ID number of 56664.

2. Download, print out and use the "Thorsen Response Card" (pdf) below, along with your check made out to SIM and mail these directly to SIM. SIM will send you a receipt for your gift toward our support account and/or ministry account.
